I’m sure you all are familiar with YouTube, right? Well, here is how it works. You have view count, likes and dislikes. When it comes to being viral or becoming an overnight success, all media outlets, executives, etc. care about is view count. I’ll even add in comments. No matter if it’s a good comment or a bad one, comment counts matter too. Kinda like website analytics. You measure how many visitors/hits to your website. Not who likes it or dislike it.
I say all of that to say this, if you don’t like something, don’t give it life by viewing/commenting about it all the time. Most people hate Trump. He’s still gonna be a big deal, not because you hate him, but because you keep talking about him. Same can be said for Hillary. Instead of being anti-Trump, be pro-Hillary. Instead of being anti-Hillary, be pro-Trump. Instead of being anti-both, be pro-somebody else. Stop playing defense. Play offense. At the end of the day, they don’t care about who you hate. They only care about your involvement and participation.
